In line with the directives of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, and under the auspices of the president of Basra University, Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar, and with the launch of the anti-drug week, the women's Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts organized an awareness seminar entitled:
"Women and women.Anesthetics: a psychological and aesthetic approach in the awareness theater".
The seminar aimed to raise students ' awareness of the need to stay away from negative behaviors and promote intellectual and social health in order to contribute to building a conscious and healthy individual capable of facing societal challenges.
The seminar, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hala Hassan Sabti and teacher Dr. Rana Faleh fatta, discussed the social dimensions of the pressures that women are exposed to, including marginalization, neglect, family disintegration, and the resulting risks associated with falling into a cycle of addiction. The two lectures also addressed the role of awareness Theater in reducing this phenomenon through artistic, aesthetic and intellectual treatment, which contributes to the delivery of a visual speech capable of enhancing awareness and motivating the recipient to reflect and realize the reality around him.
